DESIGN PROCESS

Initially, I will search for images to use as references and draw inspiration from them. Based on these references, I will then proceed to create my characters.

Goal

Design engaging and charming character images to captivate children's interest in learning both English and Vietnamese. Demonstrate that captivating illustrations significantly enhance children's enthusiasm for education. The aim of this project set is to develop a valuable resource for children, fostering early learning and contributing to their career guidance.

FLASHCARD

Design and illustrate a set of publications including 1 book and 1 set of flashcards on a career theme based on the English alphabet from A-Z for children. Children will not only learn English vocabulary and Vietnamese nouns about occupations, but in addition, they can also learn more about the definition and function of each occupation.

FRONT & BACK SIDE

The Flash Card set includes 26 cards, each featuring one of the 26 English letters from A to Z on the front and an alphabetical career illustration on the back.

On the front, there will be an image of 26 children wearing Vietnamese school uniforms. The purpose of creating such images is that, for children who are not yet of school age, looking at these images will evoke a sense of excitement. Every child desires to grow up quickly so they can wear new, lovely uniforms to school. For those children who are already attending school, this design aims to easily evoke sympathy and a sense of closeness. They can see that learning English becomes much more interesting.

On the back, there will be illustrations of 26 different occupations corresponding to each letter of the alphabet.

POSTERS

These are 3 consecutive posters with the main subject being clouds.

The cloud symbolizes children's career dreams. The design incorporates three main vehicles—hot air balloon, car, and boat—to represent conquering the sky, the ground, and the sea, signifying determination and overcoming all ambitions. This illustrates the path to turning your career dream into reality, no matter how difficult it may be.

GOGO ALPHABET BOOK

This book contains 60 pages featuring illustrations of 24 careers, each corresponding to a letter of the alphabet from A to Z. It presents explanations of each career in an engaging and interesting manner for children.
